Reminder: An interest meeting is planned for students who want to try out for cheerleading next year. The meeting will take place Monday, April 17th, in my classroom. 7th graders can shuttle to the meeting and get picked up at the south campus. Current south campus students may stay and meet in my classroom after school. It will last until 4:30, and students should have a ride arranged. At the meeting, I will provide the information packets, teacher evaluation forms, and cheer videos to learn for tryouts. Therefore, students must attend the meeting if they want to tryout. Students do not need to bring anything or have anything prepared to come into the meeting. Please email me with any questions or guide students to email me. rmersch@justustiawah.com

Thank you to Cherokee Councilor Keith Austin and the Cherokee Nation for giving our district a $30,000 grant to help fill in our lagoons at the North Campus. The Cherokee Nation has been and continues to do great things for our school district and is a light for our public schools.

5th grade had the opportunity to explore and create with LittleBits. LittleBits helps develop critical STEM skills. They are an easy, accessible way for students to experience engineering and learn electronics!
