Mrs. Stevens's class provided care boxes for Tech Sargent Latendresse and his unit who are deployed. The packages consisted of beef jerky, candy and snacks. Students also included Christmas pictures. Tech Sargent Latendresse's son Gage is in Mrs. Stevens class. He was very excited to see his dad open the packages! In an email to Mrs. Stevens, Tech Sargent Latendresse let the class know he received the care boxes and everyone was so grateful for their packages and support! He also sent some pictures he thought the students would enjoy! The first picture is Tech Sargent Latendress and some of his unit on Thanksgiving in front of a tactical vehicle called a MAT-V. The second picture is Tech Sargent Latendress eating with some locals. The third is Tech Sargent Latendress feeding a camel some cereal. The Justus-Tiawah family is honored to help support "our families" who are deployed. There are other classes who are also sending care packages. We will keep everyone updated as packages are received.
